Post-revamp, the visuals got a major upgrade which put it on par with award-winning websites. The website saw a huge influx of traffic and a very successful user flow which led to 78% of the booking slots being booked and many times fully sold out slots.

Research & Analysis: This phase included analysis of Google Analytics data, conducting a site audit, creating user flows, and conducting visual research to create multiple moodboards of different potential styles


Information Architecture: Based on the findings, we restructured the website to build flows with the principle of the Path of Least Resistance


Wireframing & Prototyping: We designed low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the new layout and navigation, iteratively refining them based on user feedback. Afterward, we built a high-fidelity, interactive prototype to test the design.


User Acceptance Testing: We conducted internal user acceptance tests with a diverse group of users to validate the design and identify areas for improvement. Based on the feedback, we made necessary adjustments to the design.

Fatal User Pain Point

The biggest user pain point was in the most crucial flow of the platform:
The Booking Flow.

So here's the story, a user wants to book a consultation:

  1. User selects their consultation of choice

  2. Selects consultant

  3. Fills out personal information

  4. Fills out consultation details

  5. After all this, it turns out, there is no slot available and no way to continue with another consultant, the user now has to start the process all over again.

    There we have it, the biggest pain point that is costing the business potential customers.

Solution

We solved this with 2 approaches:


  1. The quick path: We built a much faster user flow that will get the user directly into the booking flow from the moment they enter the homepage.


  1. Journey Re-order: We consolidated 2-steps into one with an input section where the user can very quickly arrive at a consultant with their desired availability.

The elevation of the overall visual design along with key optimizations to the user experience led to a gradual and steady monthly traffic increase to 10,000+ visitors and getting slots fully booked to a point where new consultants had to be hired to keep up with the rising demand.
